What does LES D'ARCS do?
We create scarves & shawls, which are much more than accessories. They define a look. Our designs combine classical elegance with modern armour elements. LES D’ARCS products offer protection while radiating suave strength. Purposely the same effect like wearing sunglasses.

For whom is LES D’ARCS?
All our products are deliberately designed unisex, because we do not advocate the antiquated separation between the sexes. We believe that everyone should be free to try out new things, choose and change that to one’s gusto.  
 
Where do you manufacture?
By conviction we produce only in the EU, mainly in Berlin and Poland.
 
What material do you use?
LES D’ARCS is constantly on the hunt for new high-quality materials. Currently we primarily use Italian fabrics like 100% virgin wool, leather and metal elements.
 
How long do you take for delivery?
National: approx. 1 – 3 working days. International: approx. 6 - 15 working days.
 
Are all your products always available?
All products shown are immediately available, unless a product is labelled "Sold out". In this case, it can't be added to the cart.
 
Are out-of-stock items restocked?
If an item is out of stock, we will try to restock it as soon as possible. If no stock is available, it will soon be removed from our website.
 
Is it possible to receive periodic information via email about LES D'ARCS new products and the news?
Yes. By simply signing up for our Newsletter on the bottom of the main page you will receive every now and then the latest information on LES D’ARCS. We promise never to spam you with emails.

Where can I buy it?
You can buy beautiful things from LES D’ARCS either online at our online shop or in selected shops.
 
How can I be sure that I've made my online-purchase correctly?
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive an email, contact our customer service.
 
Can I remove items from my order?
Yes, sure. You can delete any unwanted items from your shopping cart as long as the order hasn’t been processed yet.
 


PAYMENT
 
Are my card details and personal information safe?
Your details are completely safe. All information is sent encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) to ensure total security of any sensitive information. Data is only stored as long as is necessary to complete a purchase and thereafter deleted. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
 
Which payment methods can I use?
When shopping at lesDArcs.com you can choose to pay using PayPal, Amazon Payments, SOFORT transfer from debit card or pay by credit card.
 
Which credit cards are accepted?
We accept MasterCard or VISA.
 
Why is no VAT shown on my bill?
When you live in a Non-EU-country, we won’t charge VAT. 
 
What about customs?
For deliveries to non-EU countries additional duties and fees might be applicable that are payable by you.
 


DELIVERY

Who will ship my parcel?

Our delivery partner DHL will handle the national and international shipping. DHL is part of the German Post and very reliable.
 
Why ship “climate neutral”?
At LES D’ARCS we care about our environment and actively support climate protection. Therefore we use DHL's GoGreen program to deliver parcels 100% climate neutral.
 
How do I know my parcel is being shipped?
We will send you a confirmation email after handing over your parcel to DHL for shipping. After receipt of your order, the processing time in-house until the handover to the delivery partner might take up to 3 working days. The following delivery times refer to the shipping times of our delivery partner.
 
What are the general delivery times?
We offer two types of delivery (standard and express) for national and standard delivery for international shipping.
NATIONAL
    1.    Standard delivery: approx. 1 – 3 working days
    2.    Express delivery: If we receive your order by 12am, it can be delivered by noon on the following working day.
EU
    3.    Standard delivery: approx. 3 – 6 working days
WORLD
    4.    Standard delivery: approx. 10 – 15 working days


Can I track the status of my parcel?
Yes, if you have chosen the insured delivery option, DHL provides us with a tracking code that we will include in your shipping confirmation email. You can use that DHL tracking code to check upon the status of your shipping. Please go to the DHL Track and Trace site to enter your individual tracking code.
 
What are the delivery costs?
For short time only, we give you shipping for free - worldwide.
 
What countries do you deliver to?
Our delivery partner DHL differentiates between 3 types of destinations:

Please notice that for deliveries outside the European Union (Switzerland etc.) custom duties and additional taxes may occur.
These fees have to be paid by the customer.
 
What about customs?
For deliveries to non-EU countries additional duties and fees might be applicable that are payable by you.
 
Are my parcels insured?
If you have chosen the insured delivery option, then DHL shall be liable up to 500€. If you want to check on the status of your individual delivery, please go to the DHL Track and Trace site to enter your individual tracking code.
 


RETURNS

Should I check the products received?

Yes, please do. We really want to supply you with only amazing LES D’ARCS products. All products received should therefore be checked by the customer upon arrival for potential defects caused by a shipping or production.
 
Can I return my ordered product?
To be eligible for an exchange or refund, your item to be returned must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, i.e. has not been worn, altered or washed. It must also be in the original packaging and all tags have to be attached.
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your online purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange or refund.

PRIVACY

What information is collected and why?

Only when you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, shipping address and email address. When you browse our store, common access data is logged solely for statistical purposes and for technical administration of the Website.
This information helps us understand in a general way how we can potentially improve your online experience of LES D’ARCS.
 
Are my payment details safe?
Yes. If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then our e-commerce system Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). This means that your card details are processed with a very high level of security. Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensuring the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
 
Will you pass on my data?
NEVER. LES D’ARCS will never pass on, sell or swap your data to third parties for marketing purposes. We will keep your data only for as long as necessary to carry out our services to you or for as long as the law requires us to.
 
Will you email me about marketing stuff?
No. We won’t send you emails for marketing reasons unless you’ve signed up for our newsletter and thereby declared your interest in such matter.
 
How do you protect my data and ensure security?
To protect your personal information, we take great precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Your data is encrypted, protected behind the firewalls of our e-commerce provider Shopify and stored only as long as is necessary to complete our services to you

TERMS OF SERVICE

What happens when I state a wrong shipping address?

If you notice, please contact us immediately at contact@lesdarcs.com

Should the delivery of the goods, despite two attempts to deliver, fail, we reserve the right to withdraw from the contract. If the goods are send back to LES D’ARCS by the delivery company, we reserve the right to request reimbursement by customer for any related costs that arise.

What happens, if I order a product that then becomes unavailable?

In the unlikely scenario of double bookings for a last item at the same time or if the ordered product not be available, because we are not supplied with this product from our suppliers without fault, we reserve the right to withdraw from the contract. In this case we will notify you directly and offer you where appropriate the delivery of a comparable product. If no comparable product is available or you do not wish to accept a comparable product, we will promptly refund consideration.
